The fact that Esme’s scream was, like … cut out, but you could still see the pain on her face absolutely kills me. Edward’s face too. That’s his father and he’s gone because of something that he helped create.
…and also everyone’s faces in general. Nobody expected it. Carlisle was the leader, the one that provided so many with a different option. His decision helped so many refrain from becoming what they were expected to be but didn’t want to be.
What I love most about the battle scene is that nobody thinks about Edward’s decision to move forward and attack, they go along with it. Not to sound like a line from High School Musical or anything but they were literally all in it together.

New unseen Breaking Dawn part 1 footage
I’m not one of those people who’s into the whole Edward vs. Jacob thing but I never understood why they changed this.
To me, this was a rational reaction to something like this. I’d hope that my dad, god rest his soul, would kick the shit out of some guy if they did something like imprinting on me within 5 seconds of meeting me. It would show that he cared for me and wanted to protect me. I understand imprinting and know that Jacob doesn’t feel for Renesmee in that way (yet) but still … Nessie is Edwards daughter. This is a normal reaction to me. So … yeah.
I’m aware nobody asked my opinion but I needed to get that out.
